Melbourne is the native home of Australian Motoring Enthusiasts. This website has been created to bring them all together.

Although primarily for Melbournians, we encourage people from around the globe to view our cars and talk to us about their experiences with classic motoring.

Melbourne has its history steeped in motoring traditions. The first point on the historical map is most likely 1897, when Australia’s firs automobile was built by Harley Tarrant. This feat was achieved just 11 years after the very first car was ever made by Karl Benz in 1887. From there Melbourne went on to become a “motor city”.

Such was the popularity of the automobile in Melbourne, that the first traffic light in Australia was installed here in 1929. We also developed the first all Australian car in 1948 with Holden.

Our passions are still alive today with motoring events nearly every weekend. Melbourne is truly the Motoring capital of Australia.

We are the most fanatical supporters of motor sport and the good old “Sunday cruise”. Melbournians love motoring and here is a website where they can come together and share their passion.
